Derok Cornwell, PA-C, is a highly experienced certified physician assistant at Alabama Anesthesiology & Pain Consultants. He is experienced in pain management, orthopedics, and surgical care, while also being highly skilled in evaluation and treatment for chronic pain conditions. He is nationally certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds additional certifications with National Surgical Assistant Association and Association for Advanced Tissue and Biologics.
Derok holds a Masters of Medical Science from Lincoln Memorial University, Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Biology from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He is a fellow with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Alabama Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.
