Jennifer Yates, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience and a strong clinical background in chronic pain management, outpatient surgery, and perioperative care. She is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Auburn University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Gadsden State Community College.
Since 2019, Jennifer has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Alabama Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants, helping patients manage chronic pain, coordinating referrals for specialty services, and delivering timely diagnoses. She previously served as a Registered Nurse in the same practice, building deep experience in both patient care and team-based care delivery.
Jennifer has also held roles in surgical settings, including as Operating Room Circulator at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and as Outpatient Surgery Supervisor at Wedowee Hospital. Her leadership and experience in both clinical and administrative functions make her a well-rounded and highly capable provider.
