Alabama Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants is excited to welcome a returning Dr. Stephen Jones to the practice. Dr. Jones is a board certified physician who previously practiced with our clinics at AAAPC from 2020-2022. Dr. Jones has a wealth of experience having actively practiced medicine for nearly 40 years. The knowledge Dr. Jones possesses combined with trust he develops with his patients will benefit the entirety of the greater Birmingham, Alabama region.
Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma Medical College. His post-graduate training includes an internship with the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical College and a completed residency program with the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical College in conjunction with Bartlesville Family Practice. Dr. Jones has also served as an emergency room physician and a clinical director demonstrating a vast array of knowledge that Dr. Jones is able to apply to diagnoses of a multitude of potential patient morbidities ensuring optimal treatment plans are recommended and applied.
